Having just wrapped up a sold-out tour of the country, Australian hardcore headbangers SPEED are gearing up for another jaunt across the nation.
The aggressive five-piece, who are currently in America performing at this year’s Coachella festival, have announced a massive 15-date tour that will see them performing tracks from their acclaimed 2024 debut album, ONLY ONE MODE, which also won an ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album.
Taking to the Gram to announce the tour, the band posted: “AUSTRALIAN HARDCORE TOUR 2025. TIX ON SALE THURSDAY 9AM LOCAL TIME. NO BARRICADE MOSH PIT. THIS WILL BE SPEED’S LAST AUS TOUR OF 2025.”
Coming along for the ride are Thai hardcore act Whispers and Newcastle beatdown gurus Feel the Pain.

SPEED then heads to NSW for two shows in Sydney at Metro Theatre on Friday, July 19 and Factory Theatre on Saturday, July 20, followed by a gig at The Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle on Monday, July 22.
The tour continues with shows at Canberra’s Fun Time Pony on Tuesday, July 23 and Albury’s Beer Delux on Wednesday, July 24, before SPEED perform four gigs in Melbounre at Phoenix Youth Centre on Saturday, July 27, 170 Russell on Sunday, July 28, Howler on Monday, July 29 and The Bendigo Hotel on Tuesday, July 30.

SPEED are one of the country’s great live acts, with their recent Adelaide show receiving a glowing review from The Note writer Will Oakeshott.
“This presentation was one that incorporated more emotional connection, more appreciation, more devotion and more dedicated hysteria,” Oakeshott wrote. “Under the ceiling of the Lion Arts Factory, SPEED celebrated friendship in an impeccable ‘modus operandi’ – they gave it everything.”
