Currently performing bonus shows along the East Coast as part of their 2024 Machine Tour, Pseudo Echo have announced a new run of gigs in 2025 celebrating the 40th anniversary of their sophomore album, Love an Adventure.

Released in 1985, the album peaked at #14 on the ARIA Album Chart and produced the hit singles ‘Don’t Go’, ‘Love an Adventure’ and ‘Funky Town’, which went straight to the top of the charts.

Taking the album across the country next year as part of their Love an Adventure national tour, fans can expect to hear the record’s big hits along with Pseudo Echo favourites.

The first show of the band’s Love an Adventure tour begins on the Gold Coast at Miami Marketta on Friday, February 7. The Brian Canham lead act then have shows lined up at Brisbane’s The Princess Theatre on Saturday, February 8, Sydney’s Paddo RSL on Friday, February 14, Adelaide’s The Gov on Saturday, February 22, and Canberra’s The Basement on Saturday, March 15. The final two dates take place in Perth at Port Beach Brewery on Friday, March 21 and the Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, March 22.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via Pseudo Echo’s website.

Pseudo Echo are one of Australia’s most successful new wave acts, scoring multiple top 20 hits during the 80s and going global with their 1986 cover of Lipps Inc.’s, ‘Funky Town’.

The current lineup comprises sole original member Brian Canham (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards) performing alongside Matty Ray (keytar), James Mudd (guitar), Abigail Lula (drums), Valentina Tayler (backing vocals) and Paul Checchinelli (bass synth, keyboards, piano).

Despite not releasing an album since 2020’s After Party, Pseudo Echo remain one of Australia’s great 80s synth-pop acts and you don’t want to miss them when they hit your city on their Love an Adventure 2025 national tour.

Catch Pseudo Echo at The Gov on Saturday, February 22. Tickets on sale now via Oztix.
