Slowly Slowly Plot ‘Forgiving Spree’ Australian Tour 2025
Also coming along for the ride are special guests Honey Revenge (East Coast shows only) and Grayscale.
Gearing up for the release of their fifth long player Forgiving Spree in January 2025 (pre-order here), Slowly Slowly have announced they’re embarking on an Australian tour next May.
The alt-rockers are bringing along some friends on tour, with American pop-punk duo Honey Revenge joining them for the East Coast leg of the tour and US rock act Grayscale performing on all five dates.
Speaking on the tour, Slowly Slowly’s vocalist and guitarist Ben Stewart said: “It’s been a while between drinks—we couldn’t be more ecstatic to announce this homecoming tour. These are some serious rooms and we couldn’t think of a better way to drop punt our new album 'Forgiving Spree' off into the stratosphere. We are intent on making these shows feel both like huge spectacles, but also intensely intimate - join us for our biggest headlines to date, across our beloved home country after almost 18 months of time away. We can’t wait to see you.
“Also, the icing on the cake is that we get to hang with our friends in Honey Revenge (US) and soon to be new best buds Grayscale (US). Who would have thought a little band from Melbourne Aus could bring an international bill together? Not us haha. We'll have our work cut out for us keeping up with the immense talent on the stages each night.”
Slowly Slowly’s Forgiving Spree national tour begins in Perth at the Astor Theatre on Friday, April 4 and continues with dates at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Saturday, April 5, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday, April 10 and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, April 11, with the final date of the tour taking place at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Saturday, April 12.
Sign up for the Early Bird pre-sale here, which kicks off Wednesday, November 20 at 8:30am local time. General on-sale begins Friday, November 22 at 8:30am local time via Destroy All Lines.

Forgiving Spree comes after Slowly Slowly’s fourth record Daisy Chain peaked at #5 on the ARIA Album Chart in 2022, the band’s highest-ever charting position. The album was also nominated for Best Independent Rock Album or EP at the AIR Awards that same year.
Merging the band’s pop sensibilities with melodic guitar riffs and inspiring storytelling, Forgiving Spree is shaping up as Slowly Slowly’s most adventurous album yet. Citing The Killers, Bruce Springsteen, John Farnham and Gang of Youths as inspiration for the new record, fans can expect something totally out of the box from the Melbourne quartet.
Having supported the likes of Amy Shark, Stand Atlantic and Ocean Alley, along with playing
top Aussie festivals including Good Things Festival, Groovin' The Moo and Splendour In The Grass, expect a dynamic live showing from Slowly Slowly when they hit town next year.
