The most successful independent rapper of all time is performing at The Gov in March 2025.
No independent hip hop artist has found more success than Missouri rapper Tech N9ne. Known for his ‘double time’ rapping, whereby he raps twice as fast as the beat without losing lyrical cadence, the man born Aaron Dontez Yates is returning to Australia in 2025.
Tech N9ne’s Aussie tour takes in five capital cities next March, beginning with a gig at Brisbane’s Eatons Hill on Friday, March, 21. He follows this with shows at Syndey’s Metro Theatre on Saturday, March, 22, Adelaide’s The Gov on Wednesday, March 26 and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Friday, March, 28, before a final gig at Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Sunday, March 30.
Joining Tech N9ne on tour is fellow American rapper Joey Cool.

For 35 years Tech N9ne has been entertaining audiences with his frenetic raps and relatable lyrical content. Performing close to 100 shows a year on average, Tech has a reputation for delivering an incredible live performance powered by his infectious energy.
A pioneer of the underground rap scene, Tech N9ne has also experienced success in the mainstream, including the massive 2022 hit ‘Face Off’ featuring King ISO, Joey Cool and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on his rap debut.

The metalcore act will be supported by Silent Planet and Resolve.
The announcement comes after Childish Gambino canned his North American and European tour due to health issues.
The former Judas Priest and Iced Earth singer is heading our way in February.
Only two other Australian cities, Sydney and Perth, are getting a visit from the visionary electronic artist.

The Californian festival’s bill also includes Missy Elliot, the Prodigy, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion and Sam Fender.

The Cat Empire will be joined by The Tullamarines, Audio Reign, Chicken Salt and more.
Sydney guitar-pop duo Royel Otis took home a whopping four ARIA Awards while pop singer Troye Sivan scored three awards.
The tour marks The Wonder Years’ first trip Down Under in six years.
The five-time Grammy Award-winning band will be playing all the big hits from We Like It Here along with fan favourites.
The five track EP features the previously released singles ‘Feels Like a Start’, ‘Peaches and Wine’ and ‘Bloodshot Eyes’.
Next year’s event is held at Frome Park/Nellie Raminyemmerin Park and features London DJ Ben UFO, Melbourne’s Pretty Girl (performing a DJ set), passionate DJ and producer DAWS.
The UK rockers will be joined on tour by American pop punk act State Champs.
This is The Kooks’ biggest tour since their 2022 jaunt performing their debut album In/Inside Out in full.
