TEDDY SWIMS ANNOUNCES ‘I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING BUT THERAPY’ TOUR

The tour will be Teddy Swims’ largest this side of the equator, taking in eight dates across Australia and New Zealand.

Atlanta crooner Teddy Swims has fast become a favourite with Australian audiences, selling out both of his previous two tours Down Under. The love for the 'Lose Control' singer is only set to grow with the announcement of Swims' largest ever Aussie tour this July. Heading on the road in support of his debut album, last year's fantastic I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), Swims is playing shows in both Australia and New Zealand. 

The highly anticipated tour begins in New Zealand with gigs in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington, before the talented singer makes his way to Australia. Once on our shores, he will perform at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall and Perth’s Riverside Theatre. 

Swims will be joined by his band, Freak Freely, with support to be announced in the coming months. 

Born Jaten Dimsdale, Warner artist Teddy Swims caught the public’s attention with a string of EPs before the release of his debut album last year. Combining soul, funk, R&B and gospel, Swim’s dynamic voice powered his 2023 hit single ‘Lose Control’ to the #4 spot on the Billboard Global 200.

“I needed to write about the moment we lost our shot in order to help myself make sense of it all these years later”, says Swims of the track that is ARIA certified Platinum in Australia with over 20 million streams. ‘Lose Control’ also reached #7 on the ARIA single charts and #1 on the AU Shazam Chart. It is also certified Platinum in New Zealand and spent 11 weeks at the top of the NZ charts, currently sitting at the #4 spot.
