THE AMITY AFFLICTION ANNOUNCE ‘LET THE OCEAN TAKE ME’ 10TH ALBUM ANNIVERSARY AUSTRALIAN TOUR
The post-hardcore thrashers are celebrating their fourth album with a five date tour this November.

Metalcore giants The Amity Affliction is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their smash album, Let the Ocean Take Me, with a five-date tour this November.
The Gympie quartet of Joel Birch (vocals), Ahren Stringer (vocals, bass), Dan Brown (lead guitar), and Jon Longobardi (drums) will be playing Let the Ocean Take Me in its entirety, along with all the biggest hits spanning their two-decade career.
The Amity Affliction will play shows in Brisbane (Riverstage, Friday, November 8), Sydney (Horden Pavilion, Saturday, November 9), Melbourne (John Cain Arena, Thursday, November 14), Adelaide (The Drive, Friday, November 15) and Perth (Red Hill Auditorium, Saturday, November 16).
Joining The Amity Affliction on tour for all five dates are Boston heavy metal hitters Ice Nine Kills, Micighan metalcore upstarts We Came As Romans and Melbourne hardcore newcomers Heavensgate.
Since bursting onto the metalcore scene in 2008, The Amity Affliction has taken all before them. The quartet have achieved four #1 ARIA Album Chart albums – with 2010s Youngbloods and 2012s Chasing Ghost both gold-certified – won four Queensland Music Awards and played some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Download UK, Reading and Leeds, Vans Warped Tour and Hellfest.
The band’s most recent album, 2023s Not Without My Ghosts, was self-produced by The Amity Affliction and released via Pure Noise Records. Nominated for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album at the 2023 ARIA Awards, Not Without My Ghosts was critically acclaimed, with New Noise Magazine hailing Not Without My Ghosts as “an excellent album fitting of Amity Affliction’s legendary canon.”
Tickets for The Amity Affliction’s Let the Ocean Take Me 10th album anniversary Australian tour go on sale this Thursday, May 2 at 11:30am local time via Live Nation.
