The Teskey Brothers Announce Headline A Day On The Green Tour

One of Australia’s most beloved sibling duos, The Teskey Brothers, are gearing up for a summer to remember, today announcing they’ll be TOURING WITH iconic outdoor concert series, A Day On The Green, this January.

This summer, five-time ARIA award-winners The Teskey Brothers will exclusively perform at six premium wineries across the country – including one in the heart of the Barossa Valley – and will be joined by a stellar lineup of international and Australian acts. They include US indie-rock favourites Band of Horses, Americana-folk artist Sierra Ferrell, the Irish-based country disrupter (who’ll also be making an Australian debut) CMAT, and Guringai singer-songwriter Charlie Needs Braces.

After spending much of 2024 touring the US, UK and Europe, as well as performing at major festivals like Bonnaroo and Wilderness Festival, the A Day On The Green tour will be a heartfelt homecoming for The Teskey Brothers. It all kicks off in Perth on January 8, 2025, at Burswood Park. From there, the duo will take their electrifying live show to wineries nationwide, including Peter Lehmann Wines in Barossa Valley on January 10.

“After many months on tour overseas, we are excited to be bringing the show home for this very special A Day On The Green run in January," says Josh Teskey. "To make it a full day’s affair, it’s a huge thrill to be bringing together some of our favourite acts from around the world."

The musical synergy between brothers Sam and Josh Teskey is rare. Their distinct sound seamlessly blends soul and blues while also tapping into the timelessness of Motown. It’s a noise that’s captured hearts worldwide and garnered industry widespread recognition, including the prestigious Songwriter of the Year award at the recent APRA Music Awards.

Joining The Teskey Brothers are special guests Band of Horses, who are returning to Australia for the first time since 2016 with their collection of hit songs, including ‘The Funeral’, ‘Laredo’ and ‘No One’s Gonna Love You’. Sierra Ferrell will also grace the stage with her genre-blending style and compelling voice that’s made her one of the most in-demand musicians today. Further, Irish singer-songwriter and Ivor Novello award-winner CMAT will bring her blend of indie-pop and country to Australian shores for the first time. Rounding out the lineup is Charlie Needs Braces, the solo project of Guringai musician Charlie Woods, who weaves stories and language with live looping.

Since 2001, A Day On The Green has established itself as one of Australia’s most popular outdoor concert series, hosting some of the biggest names in the music world. The Teskey Brothers headline tour this summer promises to be no different.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, June 27 at midday local time via Ticketmaster. AAMI members presale and A Day On The Green presale begins Monday, June 24 at 10am local time.
