One of Australia’s most unique prog-rock acts, The Omnific, are taking the show on the road this September in support of their new record, The Law of Augmenting Returns.
The record includes the inspiring tracks ‘Matrices’, ‘Base Camp’, ‘Will-O’-The-Wisp’ and ‘Phat Mackerel’ and features the trio’s trademark crunching bass riffs and pummelling percussion.
The trio of bassists Matt Fackrell and Toby Peterson-Stewart and drummer Jerome Lematua are playing five shows across the nation, with support coming from Melbourne heavy hitters Lune.
Kicking things off in Canberra at The Baso on Friday, September 6, the instrumental trio heads to Sydney for a gig at The Lansdowne on Saturday, September 7. It’s then on to Valley Loft in Brisbane on Sunday, September 8 and Adelaide’s Crown and Anchor on Thursday, September 12 before the band returns home for a final show at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne on Saturday, September 14.
