The Wombats To Headline Next SummerSalt Series

 

The UK indie trio will be joined by DMA’s, Ball Park Music, Del Water Gap and more.

The Wombats are making Australia home again this September and October after being revealed as the headline act of the latest SummerSalt Series.

The UK indie trio are performing four festival dates in regional areas alongside a talented lineup of artists that includes DMA’S, Ball Park Music, Del Water Gap, Bea and her Business and Ra Ra Viper. The Wombats have also locked in four headline gigs in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney while in the country.

The latest SummerSalt Series featuring The Wombats kicks off at Torquay Common in Torquay on Saturday, September 20. This is followed by dates at Woodstock Farm in Tamborine on Saturday, September 27, Speers Point Park in Lake Macquarie on Sunday, September 28, and finally Esplanade Park in Fremantle on Saturday, October 4.

The Commbank Yello Mastercard pre-sale runs from 10:30am on Wednesday, February 12 until 10:30am on Friday, February 14. SummerSalt Series pre-sale takes place at 11:30am on Friday, February 14 and runs until 10:30am on Monday, February 17. General on-sale kicks off at 11:30am on Monday, February 17.

Since its debut in 2017, SummerSalt has become a staple of the Aussie festival scene, catering especially to regional areas of the country.

Bringing both international and local artists to country towns across the country, SummerSalt’s previous lineups have featured Cat Power, Thelma Plum, Matt Corby, Xavier Rudd, Meg Mac and more.

The next SummerSalt Series commences in March, with Missy Higgins, Fanning Dempsey National Park, The Waifs and more playing shows across the nation.
