In a surprising turn of events, iconic American girl group TLC has announced the cancellation of their highly anticipated tour of Australia and New Zealand alongside Busta Rhymes and En Vogue. The announcement was made through a post on the group's official Facebook page, where they expressed their regret and heavy hearts over the decision.
The post reads, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, TLC’s upcoming tour of Australia/New Zealand w/ Busta Rhymes & En Vogue will no longer be proceeding. To our incredible Australian and New Zealand fans, it is with heavy hearts, that we announce the cancellation of our upcoming tour. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment to our fans. Your support means everything, and we promise to make it up to you. We can't wait to be back in your beautiful countries soon. Thank you for your understanding and love."
The cancellation comes as a blow to fans who were eagerly anticipating the chance to see TLC live in concert, especially with the added excitement of sharing the stage with hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes and R&B group En Vogue. The reasons behind the cancellation remain undisclosed.
Despite the disappointment, TLC expressed their gratitude to their devoted fans, assuring them that all purchased tickets would be refunded in full. The post stated, "All purchased tickets will receive a full refund. Tickets will be automatically refunded in full (including refundable ticket purchase, if relevant) to the original payment method used for purchase, and patrons do not need to take any action."
Australia and New Zealand, promising to make it up to their fans at a later date.
