Get ready to dance all night this October when UK legends UB40 bring their ‘RED RED WINE Tour to Australia.

Celebrating their 45th anniversary as a band, UB40 will perform in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.

“We always look forward to our trips Down Under. It’s one of our favourite places in the world to perform,” UB40 said in a statement.

Joining the reggae-pop act on tour is Grammy-nominated artist Eagle-Eye Cherry, who is best known for his monster 1997 hit ‘Save Tonight’.

Originating from Birmingham, UB40 are one of the UK’s most successful acts. They’ve sold over 100 million records worldwide, had two Billboard Hot 100 number ones and average over 9 million streams on Spotify per month.

While the band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, four of UB40’s founding members are still part of the band. Robin Campbell (vocals & guitar), James Brown (drums), Earl Falconer (vocals & bass) and Norman Hassan (vocals & percussion) make up the original core of the band and are joined on tour by Martin Meredith (keyboards & saxophone), Laurence Parry (trumpet & trombone), Jahred Gordon (keyboards), Ian Thompson (saxophone), Gilly G (MC vocals) Matt Doyle (lead vocals & guitar) and Matt Campbell (backing vocals).

The band’s show at the AEC Theatre will be a joyous celebration of the UB40’s history and fans can expect to hear all their biggest hits, including ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Food For Thought’ and ‘(I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You’, along with new songs, such as ‘Forever True,’ taken from their forthcoming UB45 record.

General sale tickets will be available from 12:30pm on Wednesday April 17. There are four pre-sale options, with the Telstra pre-sale kicking off today at 12:30pm, and the three other pre-sales occurring on Monday April 15.
