Melbourne pop punkers Between You & Me have just dropped the dates for their forthcoming national tour. Hitting the road in support of the band's forthcoming EP, Sh!t Yeah, Between You & Me will be playing shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane. These are some of the biggest shows the five-piece have played, with support coming from exciting Adelaide duo TOWNS, who were on the road with Kisschasy last year.
Currently finishing off their debut UK headline tour, the release of Sh!t Yeah is scheduled for Friday, April 5. It’s Between You & Me’s first fully independent release since their debut EP, 2016’s Paper Thin. Fans have already been given a taste of what to expect from the EP, with the band releasing three singles in the lead-up to the EP’s release: ‘Nevermind’, ‘YEAH!’ and most recent release ‘In the Middle’. You can check out the music video for the upbeat ‘In the Middle’ below.
It looks like being a big year for Between You & Me. Not only are they receiving rave reviews for their UK tour, but the boys are hitting up North America next week for the first time. Between Me & You is riding a wave of momentum after an interesting 2023 that saw the band announce they had split with label Hopeless Records and gone fully independent. But it hasn’t been all bad news, with the band receiving plaudits for their triple j Like a Version cover of Smash Mouth’s ‘All Star’ and releasing several energetic and well supported singles. Bassist James Karagiozis also got the chance to jump in the studio with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda where he and a bunch of other musicians recorded versions of Shinoda’s ‘Already Over’ and Linkin Park’s single ‘Bleed It Out’.
Presented by triple j, Capital Artist Group and Select Music, tickets for Between You & Me’s ‘Sh!t Yeah Australian Tour’ are on sale now via feature.fm.
