Tom Morello & Electric Cadillac Final Additions To Bluesfest 2025 Lineup
The two acts join an already stacked bill that includes Crowded House, TOTO, Chaka Khan, Gary Clark Jr. and more.
Less than 70 days out from this year’s Bluesfest Byron Bay, organisers have revealed two final acts joining the lineup – Rage Against the Machine guitar whizz Tom Morello and Indonesian blues-rock powerhouse Electric Cadillac.
The two acts will join an already stacked Bluesfest lineup taking over Byron Events Farm across the Easter long weekend from April 17 to 20, 2025.
Grammy-winning guitarist Morello was an original member of Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave and Prophets of Rage, and has been a touring guitarist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. He’s also had a successful solo career, releasing close to ten albums under various aliases.
Electric Cadillac are an energetic blues-rock band hailing from Jakarta who are sure to bring the good times to this year’s festival.
Both acts round out a bumper bill that includes Kiwi greats Crowded House, ‘70s soft rock legends TOTO, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Chaka Khan, blues icons George Thorogood & The Destroyers, South Aussie hip hop gurus Hilltop Hoods, multi-instrumentalist and singer John Butler, funk collective The Cat Empire, country singer Kasey Chambers blues wonder Gary Clark Jr. and many more.

Bluesfest OAM Director Peter Noble is excited about the new lineup of artists performing at next year’s event, releasing this statement: “While this lineup focuses on our homegrown talent, it’s still a strong Blues and Roots announcement, staying true to the heart of what Bluesfest has always been about. I can’t begin to tell you how many incredible artists have reached out, wanting to be part of our final festival.
“Scores of amazing talents from across the country have thrown their hats in the ring. It’s a testament to how special this festival is to the Australian music community. As much as I would love to include everyone, there are only so many spots we can fit into one lineup.”
Byron Bay Bluesfest 2025 takes place from Thursday, April 17 to Sunday, April 20 at Byron Events Farm. Tickets are on sale now via Moshtix.
