The rollout for Confidence Man’s hotly anticipated new album 3AM (La La La) continues with the release of latest single, ‘SO WHAT’.
Following club banger ‘I CAN’T LOSE YOU’, Confidence Man’s second single from 3AM (La La La) is another electro hailstorm of goodness that will have you dancing along from the get-go. If the track sounds a little familiar, it’s because the band debuted the song during their epic Glastonbury set earlier this year.
“We’re back with the on shoulders anthem you never knew you needed,” the band said in a statement about ‘SO WHAT’. “It’s hard. It’s fast. It’s basically Muhammad Ali and your ears are everyone he ever boxed. They say it gets lonely at the top, so we made this banger to share the view.”
You can listen to ‘SO WHAT’ below.
3AM (LA LA LA) is shaping up as one of the albums of 2024, with Confidence Man finding inspiration for the record after relocating to London and immersing themselves in the local electronic music scene.
“3AM (LA LA LA) is gonna shake your mind, body and soul. If not, sounds like a you problem,” Sugar Bones said in a statement about the album. “It’s bubblegum warehouse at its finest, and that’s a legally binding con man guarantee. We can’t wait for the homecoming of the century. We’re gonna hotbox your head, steal your car, rearrange your body and probably crash your house party. Clothes optional.”
Not only is Confidence Man readying the release of 3AM (LA LA LA), but the London-based act is also returning home this October and November for an Australian tour.
The six-date run takes in Fremantle, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Torquay and Melbourne and may be the last chance for Aussie fans to catch Confidence Man for a while, with the band intent on building their fanbase across England and Europe.
Confidence Man plays Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, October 25. For full ticket details visit the Frontier Touring website. 3AM (LA LA LA) is released on October 18. You can pre-order the album here.
