Swedish heavy rockers Greenleaf are heading back our way in 2025. The band’s The Head & The Habit Australian tour hits six capital cities along with a headline spot on the bill of Spliffs n Riffs Festival.

Touring in support of their 2024 record The Head & The Habit, Greenleaf will be joined by Sydney psych-rock act Iron Blankets.

The tour begins in Brisbane at Soapbox on Friday, February 21 and continues at Sydney’s Marrickville on Saturday, February 22, Canberra’s The Baso on Sunday, February 23 and Geelong’s Medusa on Thursday, February 27.

Greenleaf and Iron Blankets then make the journey down to Melbourne’s The Gaso on Friday, February 28 and Adelaide’s Crown & Anchor on Saturday, March 1, before bringing their tour to an end at Perth’s Spliffs n Riffs Festival on Sunday, March 2.

Tickets for all shows and Spliffs n Riffs Festival are on sale now via Your Mate Bookings.

First formed as a side project way back in 1999, Greenleaf has gone through multiple lineup changes over the journey, with the current iteration of the band comprising vocalist Arvid Hällagård, guitarist Tommi Holappa, bassist Hans Fröhlich and drummer Sebastian Olsson, none of who started the band.

Highly regarded by the European metal scene, Greenleaf’s most recent album, this year’s The Head & The Habit, has been well-received, with Metal Temple’s review claiming the album is “On par with so much of their catalogue,” with the band delivering “another masterwork.”

Catch Greenleaf at Crown & Anchor on Saturday, March 1. Tickets on sale now via Moshtix.
