After a super successful, sold-out national tour last year, UK singer-songwriter James Blunt is heading back Down Under to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Back To Bedlam.

Released in October 2004, Back To Bedlam was a huge hit for James, reaching the #1 spot on the ARIA and UK Album Charts, while peaking at #2 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. The album also spawned global #1 hit singles ‘You’re Beautiful’ and ‘Goodbye My Lover’, along with charting singles ‘High’ and ‘Wiseman’.

Blunt will perform Back to Bedlam in its entirety at each show, along with other notable tracks from his seven album career.

“New Zealand and Australia… I’m coming to get you!” Blunt said in a statement about the tour. “Following last year’s incredible tour of Oz, I knew I had to bring my Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour to you guys Down Under, and this time we’re sneaking in New Zealand, and I can’t wait to see all of you!  I promise to deliver an unforgettable show!”

The Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour begins in New Zealand at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Tuesday, October 21. Blunt then crosses the ditch for concerts at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre (Thursday, October 23), Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena (Saturday, October 25), Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (Sunday, October 26) and Adelaide’s AEC Arena (Tuesday, October 28), before one last show at Perth’s RAC Arena on Thursday, October 30.

Early bird pre-sale begins Wednesday, February 5 at 8:30am local time. Sign up here. General on-sale kicks off Friday, February 7 at 8:30am local time via destroyalllines.com.

James Blunt has firmly established himself as one of the most successful British artists of the past two decades. Despite often being ridiculed by the public, Blunt has continued to release top ten charting albums, including All The Lost Souls (2007), Some Kind of Trouble (2010), Moon Landing (2013), The Afterlove (2017) and Once Upon A Mind (2019).

The former British Army Captain is also extremely funny and never shy to take the piss out of himself. He’s a must-follow on X, if you’re that way inclined, where he is always offering advice to his haters.

Catch James Blunt at AEC Arena on Tuesday, October 28. For full ticketing details visit destroyalllines.com.
