Forming just over a decade ago, The East Pointers were originally a trio consisting of guitarist Jake Charron, banjoist Koady Chaisson and fiddler Tim Chaisson. Sadly, Koady passed away in 2022, with Jake and Tim deciding to continue the band as a duo.

The folk act broke out in 2015 with the release of their June Award-winning debut album, Secret Victory. The East Pointers have gone on to release three more studio LPs and tour regularly across Canada, North American and Europe.

Catch The East Pointers at The Wheatshead Hotel on Wednesday, March 5. Tickets on sale now via Oztix.
