Kiasmos Revealed as the First Artist Performing At Illuminate Adelaide 2025
The Icelandic techno duo takes over Hindley Street Music Hall in July.

Icelandic experimental techno duo Kiasmos have been revealed as the first artist performing as part of this year’s Illuminate Adelaide.
Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen have been soundtracking dancefloors across Europe for over 15 years. Kiasmos are returning to Australian shores for an epic six-date tour showcasing their Euro electro beats, including a stop in SA as part of Illuminate Adelaide 2025.
Beginning in Brisbane at Princess Theatre as part of Open Season on Thursday, July 10, Kiasmos then perform in Sydney on Saturday, July 12 (venue TBA), Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Sunday, July 13, Perth’s The Rechabite on Wednesday, July 16, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Friday, July 18 as part of Illuminate Adelaide, before wrapping things up at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, July 19.

Forming in 2009, good friends Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen quickly became a huge global live act, merging their intense techno tunes with an unforgettable live experience that has to be seen to be believed.
Releasing their debut self-titled album in 2014 to critical acclaim, the duo dropped a series of EPs that helped grow their fanbase worldwide.
Klasmos’ Aussie return is a unique opportunity to experience the duo in the flesh for what promises to be an electrifying evening of experimental beats, ambient sounds and eye-catching visuals.
