Skegss Top Heavy Tour announcement comes two weeks after the band dropped their first single of 2025, ‘So Excited’.
Recorded with Chris Collins (Royel Otis, Old Mervs), the track is about putting our differences aside and coming together as one. “This song came together real quick in the studio, it took us a couple of days to feel the structure out, but the whole thing felt like a nice impulse that we rode,” says singer and guitarist Ben Reed.
“Instead of making things complicated, let’s all agree to disagree more and enjoy the same things we all like as people. Hope you find yourself a nice cold beer and enjoy it. We all have a past and we all have a future.”
The single was accompanied by a music video directed by Kale Neville. Speaking on the film clip, Reed adds: “The video clip also came together really last minute, Kale did a great job of making sense of the lyrics and vision and bringing it to a nice light. We want to thank everyone that helped to pull it off and for going to such great efforts on short notice. It was such a fun day making it, it feels magic when you wing things and they somehow work out.”
