Lollapalooza has revealed a more modern-day feel with its 2025 lineup. The once rock and alternative-leaning festival has embraced pop, with the headliners including three of the biggest female stars in the world – Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter and Gracie Abrams.
Joining them at the top of the bill are rappers Tyler, the Creator, A$AP Rocky and Doechii alongside Australia’s own Rüfüs Du Sol, country star Luke Combs, nu metal greats Korn and K-pop group Twice.
Held from July 31 to August 3 at Chicago’s Grant Park, the Lollapalooza 2025 lineup contains a vibrant mix of well-known and up-and-coming artists, with more than 170 acts scheduled to perform across the four days.
Other highlights on the bill include The Dare, JPEGMAFIA, Cage the Elephant, Mk.gee, T-Pain, Bleachers, Djo, Magdalena Bay, Bladee and Mariah the Scientist.
This year’s lineup also includes a decent Aussie contingent, with headliners Rüfüs Du Sol accompanied by Dom Dolla, Royel Otis, Ocean Alley, Glass Beams and Old Mervs.

First conceived by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell as a farewell festival for the band, Lollapalooza has gone on to become one of the most popular music events in the world.
The earlier years of the festival were dominated by rock, alternative and hip hop acts, with acts including Nine Inch Nails, Ice Cube, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and Cypress Hill all headlining. Since the late 00s, Lollapalooza has expanded its lineup to include pop stars such as Carly Rae Jepsen, The Chainsmokers and Billie Eilish. The festival has also gone global, with editions held in countries including Brazil, Chile and Germany.
The 2024 edition of Lollapalooza featured sets from Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, SZA, The Killers, Future x Metro Boomin, Blink-182, Melanie Martinez and many more.
