Your band could be the support for Skillet, Kim Wilde, Sparta and more.
Metropolis Touring is known for bringing some of the biggest acts to Australia. Past tours have included the likes of Ice Cube, Motorhead, Santigold, GZA, Ladytron and many more incredible international artists. Their current 2024 tour schedule is brimming with awesome overseas acts, which is keeping the lovely folk at Metropolis super busy, so they need your help. In a fantastic move that’s sure to get a great response, the touring company has put a call out to artists across the nation who are looking to get heard and gain some valuable live experience, giving them the chance to support an international act Metropolis is bringing to Australia.
“We need Supports for these Tours - SKILLET, SKIDS, THE CLOUDS, SPARTA, THE HIGH KINGS, HUGH CORNWELL, ELECTRIC SIX, KIM WILDE, SMOKIE,” Metropolis Touring posted on their social media account. “Please send Spotify or Bandcamp or Facebook link to supports@metropolistouring.com with your City and Tour Name. No need to re-send if you have already sent. Please dont send mp3s or epks or any large files.”
This post is sure to garner a lot of interest and we urge any local artists, particularly those part of the Adelaide music community, to put their best foot forward and get in touch with Metropolis Touring. The chance to play with the likes of indie alternative jokesters Electric Six, 80s pop star Kim Wilde or American rockers Sparta is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that could lead to bigger and better things.
As the social media post explains, all you need to do is send your Spotify, Bandcamp or Facebook link to supports@metropolistouring.com with your city and the name of the tour you would like to support. You can check out the original social media post here.
