OLIVIA RODRIGO ANNOUNCES 2024 AUSTRALIAN TOUR
The ‘vampire’ and ‘deja vu’ singer-songwriter will play shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

Pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo has announced her first ever Australian tour.
The ‘vampire’ and ‘drivers license’ singer will touch down in the country this October for two shows in Melbourne and two in Sydney. Sadly, the rest of the country misses out, including little old Adelaide.
Rodrigo plays Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10 before heading to Sydney for gigs at Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18.
Interestingly there is a week between her Melbourne and Sydney performances, meaning there’s a strong chance more shows will be announced if the original dates sell out which is highly likely.
The Aussie leg of Rodrigo’s ‘Guts’ world tour comes after the talented singer-songwriter plays shows in Bangkok, Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore. She will be joined on her whirlwind tour of Australia by Kiwi pop artist Benee.
Rodrigo took to social media to announce her Australian and Asian shows, posting a tour poster with the caption: “GUTS world tour Asia and Australia dates just announced!!! hope to see ya there!!!”
It’s been a big couple of years for Rodrigo since she underwent a career change. The former child actor who rose to fame in the Disney shows Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, released her debut album Sour in 2021 to critical acclaim. She went on to win three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and quickly became America’s next big thing.
She followed up Sour with Guts in 2023, a genre-spanning, coming-of-age record exploring love, loss and life as a young adult in the modern world. The album was another smash hit and cemented Rodrigo’s position as one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
Her much-anticipated debut Australian tour is sure to be one for the ages, just be prepared to battle it out with Australia’s teenage population when tickets go on sale next week.
