Short Stack are celebrating the 15th anniversary of their much-loved debut album, Stack Is the New Black, with a national tour kicking off in June.
The trio of Shaun Diviney (vocals), Andy Clemmensen (bass) and Bradie Webb (drums) are performing their debut album in full, along with all your other favourite Short Stack tunes from across their lengthy career.
Beginning in Brisbane at the iconic Tivoli on Friday, June 6, Short Stack’s anniversary tour also hits Sydney’s Roundhouse on Saturday, June 7, Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, June 13 and Melbourne’s The Forum on Saturday, June 14, before wrapping up at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday, June 20. Tickets for the Brizzy, Adelaide and Melbourne shows are sold out, with the remaining two shows selling fast.
Joining Short Stack on tour are some of Australia’s best-rising talents. In Brisbane, the trio will be joined by new wave indie party starters Friends of Friends and alt-rock duo Days Like These. Sydney finds Short Stack sharing the stage with dance rock ragers Redhook and fellow pop-punkers Forever Ends Here, while in Adelaide they’ll be accompanied by metalcore outfit Heartline and punky pop upstarts Down and Out. Melbourne fans can witness rockers Bad/Love and dream weavers Pertty Bleak. Perth gets rock meets soul act Chez and indie rockers Ojay.
