Catch SONS OF ZÖKU at The Queens Theatre This Weekend
The experimental collective will be joined by Bjéar and Dieter Horvat.
Having once again taken out Most Popular Experimental or Art Music Artist at this year’s South Australian Music Awards, experimental music collective SONS OF ZÖKU have locked in one final show for the year at The Queens Theatre this Friday, December 6.
Catch the six-piece performing tracks from their most recent record, this year’s ËNDLËSS, along with fan favourites like ‘Luz’ and ‘Dead Poets’.
SONS OF ZÖKU have also lined up two fantastic support acts, with singer-songwriters Bjéar and Dieter Horvat opening proceedings.
Crafting deeply emotional music blending folk with electronica, Bjéar wears his heart on his sleeve, with his music a soundtrack for life.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, John Martyn and Nick Drake, troubadour Dieter Horvat is another emerging local act in the midst of recording his debut EP.
Tickets for SONS OF ZÖKU’s headline performance at The Queens Theatre are on sale now via thequeensadelaide.com.au.

Comprising Portuguese-born Ricardo Da Silva (vocals, guitar) and Ica Quintela (vocals, flute, keys, percussion), alongside Australian-born Jordan Buck (bass), Oscar Ellery (sitar, guitar), Hannah Yates (vocals) and Luke Swann (drums), SONS OF ZÖKU have enjoyed an incredible year that’s not only seen the band take home another SA Music Award but also release their critically praised sophomore album, ËNDLËSS.
The nine-track record is a colourful and intimate journey through rock, folk and psychedelia that draws you deep into the world of SONS OF ZÖKU.
The UK’s Velvet Thunder called the album a “simply lovely collection of gentle, almost folksy psychedelia,” while album single ‘Lonesome Tale’ was a big hit in The Note offices, with our review saying the song “makes us want to lounge in the sun, preferably in a field of long grass or by a babbling brook. What a treat.”
SONS OF ZÖKU’s gig at The Queens Theatre is a fantastic opportunity to experience ËNDLËSS live and discover why their 2023 WOMADelaide set was so well received.
