A genre-defining record, The Curse propelled Atreyu into the rock mainstream and ended up topping the US Independent Albums Chart.
Co-headlining the Australian tour with Atreyu are metalcore act Memphis May Fire, who are currently preparing for the release of their new album Shapeshifter, which is set for release in 2025.

Emerging in the late 90s as Retribution, the band changed its name to Atreyu and released two EPs – Visions and Fractures in the Facade of Your Porcelain Beauty – before signing with Victory Records in 2001.
While their 2002 debut Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses was well received, it was the 2004 follow-up The Curse that broke Atreyu, with the singles ‘Bleeding Mascara’, ‘Right Side of the Bed’ and ‘The Crimson’ establishing the band’s heavy rock meets metalcore sound.
Atreyu released three more albums before going on hiatus between 2011-2013. Since getting the band back together Atreyu has released four more records, including last year’s The Beautiful Dark of Life.
