SummerSalt Unveils Epic 2025 Lineup Headlined by Missy Higgins & John Butler

Regional festival SummerSalt returns in 2025 with a stacked lineup of Aussie music greats.
Headlined by Missy Higgins, fresh from celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut album The Sound Of White and the release of her latest album The Second Act, and multi-instrumentalist and singer Jon Butler, SummerSalt promises a family-friendly atmosphere showcasing awesome Australian acts.
The newly formed Fanning Dempsey National Park, consisting of Powderfinger’s Bernard Fanning and Something for Kate’s Paul Dempsey, and well-traveled folk group The Waifs are also part of the bill alongside The Whitlams and Josh Pyke.
Taking place across the months of March and April 2025, the first leg of SummerSalt takes place at County Club Lawns in Launceston on Saturday, March 8. The travelling festival then heads to Mornington Racecourse in Mornington on Saturday, March 22 and Old Mount Gambier Goal in Mount Gambier on Saturday, March 29, before wrapping up at Westport Park in Port Macquarie on Saturday, April 5.
Pre-sale takes place from 9:30am local time on Tuesday, November 12 until 8:30am local time on Wednesday, November 13. You can register your interest here. General public on-sale begins on Wednesday, November 13 at 8:30am local time via summersaltmusic.com.au.

Established by Face To Face Touring, SummerSalt has been a consistent fixture on the summer festival calendar since 2017.
Bringing Australia’s greatest musical artists to regional areas across the country, SummerSalt’s previous lineups have featured the likes of Cat Power, Thelma Plum, Matt Corby, Xavier Rudd, Meg Mac and more.
