Teenage Dads Announce Biggest Tour Yet
The tour comes ahead of the band’s new single, ‘Weaponz’, set for release this Thursday.
Indie rockers Teenage Dads are embarking on their largest-ever tour this August, playing shows across Australia and New Zealand. Having impressed with their live shows as part of this year’s Laneway Festival, the Mornington Peninsula quartet will be hitting the road alongside Melbourne singer-songwriter Phoebe Go and Adelaide rising star Aleksiah.
The tour announcement comes off the back of a pretty decent 2023 that saw Teenage Dads tour extensively both locally and internationally (94 concerts across ten countries and three continents), claim three songs in the Hottest 100 and win the coveted Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist Of The Year ARIA Award.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale today at noon (AEDT) via the band’s website. The general sale is also via the Teenage Dads website and kicks off tomorrow at 9 am AEDT.
Along with heading back on the road, Teenage Dads are dropping new single 'Weaponz' this Thursday. Anyone who has caught the band live in recent weeks will have no doubt already heard this jam about "finding personal empowerment through creative expression". "It can take a lot of strength to get what you want and sometimes you need to take a bullet (or wield a bazooka) to see your vision come to life", the band said.
Pre-sale tickets for the “Majordomo” tour go on sale today at noon (AEDT) via the band’s website. The general sale via the Teenage Dads website opens tomorrow at 9 am AEDT. You can check out the full run of shows below.
