The Commodores Announce Australian Tour 2025
The legendary R&B and soul act are coming to Adelaide in October.

Soul pioneers The Commodores are embarking on their first tour of Australia in over three decades in October and November.
Best known for helping Lionel Ritchie get his big break, the R&B act have been performing since 1968 and released a stack of stellar hits, including ‘Easy’, ‘Nightshift’, ‘Three Times a Lady’, ‘Brick House’, ‘Lady (You Bring Me Up)’, ‘Sail On’ and many more.
The band’s upcoming Australia trip is being billed as a Greatest Hits Tour, with the iconic group locking in five dates across the nation.
Kicking things off in Melbourne at the Palais Theatre on Saturday, October 25, The Commodores then hit Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Sunday, October 26, Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Tuesday, October 28, Sydney’s State Theatre on Wednesday, October 29, and Perth’s Regal Theatre on Saturday, November 1.

Getting their start in the late ‘60s, The Commodores are one of the most enduring soul groups of all time. The collective have sold over 75 million records worldwide, won a Grammy Award for Best Rhythm & Blues Vocal Performance – Duo, Group Or Chorus for their song ‘Nightshift’ and have been inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
Throughout the years the lineup has changed regularly, with the current iteration of The Commodores made up of original founding member and band leader William King, Cody and Colin Orange, the sons of original founding Commodore Walter “Clyde Brickhouse” Orange, and latest recruit Brent Carte, who has a long and storied history as an R&B vocalist.
Fans of the quartet can expect a night of nostalgic soul hits when The Commodores touch down in Adelaide this October.
