This Will Destroy You Announce 2025 Australian Tour
The post-rock quartet returns to Australian shores for the first time in over a decade to celebrate 20 years as a band.
Over ten years since their last visit, post-rock outfit This Will Destroy You returns to Australian shores in 2025.
The musical collective are touring to celebrate 20 years as a band and will perform their 2008 self-titled album in full to mark the occasion, along with songs from across their two-decade career.
Taking to social media to announce the tour, the band stated: “Excited to be continuing our celebration of over 2 decades of TWDY by performing across Australia in April of 2025!”
The five-date tour commences in Perth at the Rosemount Hotel on Tuesday, April 22 and continues with shows at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Wednesday, April 23, Brisbane’s Crowbar on Thursday, April 24, Sydney’s Manning Bar on Friday, April 25 and finally Melbourne’s Howler on Saturday, April 26.
Joining This Will Destroy You on tour are Perth instrumental trio Yomi Ship and popular Sydney emo quartet Mowgli.

Celebrated as one of the pioneering post-rock acts of the early 00s, This Will Destroy You formed in San Marcos, Texas, and have enjoyed a meteoric rise since dropping their debut album Young Mountain in 2006.
Crafting atmospheric instrumental compositions that weave between emotional layers, This Will Destroy You have released seven LPs, four EPs and one live album, 2013s Live in Reykjavik, Iceland, which is an incredible listen.
Having recently completed an extensive tour of North America and Europe, co-founding guitarist Jeremy Galindo will be joined by Texas musicians Ethan Billips (Body Tape, Blank Hellscape), Johnnie McBryde and Nicholas Huft (Dismissal) during the band’s hotly anticipated Aussie jaunt.
