TISM Announce First Tour in 20 Years & Share New Single
The band is also readying the release of their new album, Death To Art.
They say good things come in threes, a point TISM is proving after the legendary Aussie collective today announced they are embarking on their first Australian tour in 20 years, along with sharing the self-titled single from their upcoming seventh album, Death to Art.
The reveal of their new album and single comes after an unusual period of activity, with TISM having released the single ‘I've Gone Hillsong’ and EP The “C” Word in 2023, while also playing a gig in Hobart earlier this year.
Death to Art is set for release on October 4 and features 17 tracks, including the self-titled lead single. TISM also dropped a music video for the tune featuring the band and their kids destroying pieces of art, which ties in nicely with the song’s title.
The song’s B-side, ‘Suspected Illegal Entry Vessel 915 – The Ballad Of Jen And Steve’, is also available to stream online, although it doesn’t appear on the Death to Art tracklist, which includes songs such as ‘I Can't Wait For My Generation To Die’ and ‘Cnut, The Dyslexic King’.
