ERIN BUKU – ‘LEY LINES’
SINGLE
Inner Tribe
2024 is shaping up as a defining year in the career of local artist, Erin Buku. The multi-talented singer, songwriter, DJ and producer has started her own label, Inner Tribe, and caused quite the buzz with her self-produced call to action, ‘The Way’.
As Buku prepares for the release of her next album, the creative has dropped a lush new single, the neo- soul flavoured ‘Ley Lines’. This tune is a vibe, with the lyrics addressing ancient lines of energy, as well as the songlines of Indigenous Australians.
The brass-driven jam about our connection to and respect for nature illuminates Buku’s passionate vocals over a lo-fi boom-bap beat. Appearing at this year’s WOMADelaide ahead of her new record, Buku is channelling her energy in a positive direction, and it’s only a matter of time before she’s making herself known on the world stage.
Sounds like: A vibe that runs deep
