There should be a study into the surf-laden sound and immense talent emerging from SA’s mid-coast. STELLAR is the latest outfit from the region, the young rockers inspired by their backyard and female-led bands like Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers. ‘Space Song’ is off their debut EP Out The Back; what we love about it is the four-piece’s confidence to take the blueprint of the surf-punk genre and inject it with their own wicked personality. It also doubles as an anthem for those a little reluctant to grow up. Tune!
