Melbourne Metal Acolytes Bad/Love Embark on DEbut Headline National Tour
The metalcore act will be supported by Outloved, Down & Out and Throwaway when they hit Adelaide UniBar in September.
Melbourne metalcore quartet Bad/Love has announced their first headline national tour.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, the band says: “We are thrilled to announce we will be embarking on our first official headline tour this August to celebrate our Mono No Aware release with our friends in @outlovedau (Outloved).”
The ‘Mono No Aware’ Tour comes amidst a massive 18 months for the band that has seen them release two EPs in 2023 (Mono No Aware, Pt. I and Mono No Aware, Pt, II) and consistently tour Australia supporting the likes of Sleeping With Sirens, Caskets and Like Moths To Flames.
Ready to unleash songs from their most recent EPs, along with their 2021 debut album, Life Imitates Art, Bad/Love has enlisted the support of fellow Melbournian punk-rockers Outloved alongside local acts from each state.
Bad/Love’s five-date journey begins in Brisbane at The Brightside on Thursday, August 8. The metal maniacs then play Crowbar in Sydney on Saturday, August 10, La La La’s in Wollongong on Sunday, August 11 and The Bergy Bandroom in Melbourne on Friday, August 16 before a final hurrah in Adelaide at UniBar on Saturday, August 17.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via Oztix (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne) and Moshtix (Wollongong, Adelaide).
Forming over five years ago, Bad/Love has steadily found themselves at the forefront of Melbourne’s metal scene. Inspired by early 00s emo-rock modern metal, the band’s debut headline tour gives fans a chance to hear songs the band has never played live before and comes hot on the heels of new singles ‘5AM’ and ‘UNGØD’, both of which were released this year.
Bad/Love plays UniBar on Saturday, August 17. For full ticketing details visit Moshtix.
