The Flaming Lips Announce 2025 Australian Tour Dates
The band kick off the tour in Adelaide, January 2025.

It’s official: The Flaming Lips are gracing our shores next year, locking in four dates across the country.
“Australia… The Lips are excited to be heading down under in 2025,” a statement on the band’s social media accounts reads.
The Wayne Coyne lead collective will perform their masterpiece, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, in its entirety at each show. This is the band’s first headline tour of Australia since 2019 and comes after The Flaming Lips announced a slew of UK and European shows.
The tour commences on Thursday, January 30 at AEC Theatre on Kaurna Land/Adelaide. The band then perform on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Land/Melbourne at Festival Hall on Saturday, February 1 and on Gadigal Land/Sydney at Horden Pavilion on Sunday, February 2, before their final show on Wednesday, February 5 at Fortitude Music Hall in Turrbal Jagera/Brisbane.

The Flaming Lips last made the trek Down Under in 2019 when they played five shows commemorating the 20th anniversary of their 1999 album The Soft Bulletin.
The psychedelic experimental rockers found worldwide success with their 10th album, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, which features charting songs ‘Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1’ and ‘Do You Realize??’.
Along with the chance to experience The Flaming Lips perform Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots in full, the band will also play a second set of hits, so expect to hear all your favs like ‘She Don't Use Jelly’, ‘Silver Trembling Hands’, ‘The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song’ along with deep albums cuts.
