The high demand for tickets to see The Used as part of their 25 year anniversary Australian tour has forced the band to upgrade venues and add new shows. The post-hardcore act have revealed new dates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Syndey, as well as venue upgrades for Adelaide and Perth.

The Used’s special 25th anniversary tour sees them play back-to-back-to-back nights in major cities across the country performing their first three albums. Fans can expect to hear The Used’s platinum-certified self-titled 2002 debut, their 2004 sophomore record In Love And Death, and their most successful album, 2007’s Lies For The Liars, which peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 Album Charts. The Used will also be playing fan favourites and all their other hits as part of each setlist.

Along with the already announced dates, The Used have now scheduled two extra shows in Melbourne on Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10 at The Forum, one additional gig in Brisbane on Tuesday, August 12 at The Tivoli, and two more concerts in Sydney on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6 at Liberty Hall.

Adelaide and Perth both get venue upgrades, with The Used now taking to the stage at Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide and Metropolis Fremantle in Perth.

“Overwhelmed! These first three records are what put The Used on the map,” vocalist Bert McCracken said via The PRP. “I can’t wait to experience the joy in playing all three records from front to back. I know it will be an amazing time. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Sending love to you all and I hope to see you there!”
