Tumblers and turntables at the ready…
TASTING NOTES
Flagship Distillery’s The Fringe Gin Fizz: From the crack of its pint-sized plum-coloured can, this exclusive drop by Flagship Distillery is devilishly fun. Hints of bitter lemon bounce on the tongue, causing your cheeks to suck in before a rush of sweet citrus gives you a reason to smile. Just like its muse – the Adelaide Fringe – this limited edition RTD pulls no punches, delivering a vibrant gin-infused concoction that opens the mind and lets your wild side run wide
SLEEVE NOTES
Music Sounds Better With You’ by Stardust: One hit wonder takes on a new meaning in Stardust’s ‘Music Sounds Better With You’. It’s the only track ever released by the outfit – comprising Thomas Bangalter (of Daft Punk fame), DJ Alan Braxe and Benjamin Diamond – but one that defined the ’90s dance music movement. Funky disco samples combine with a hypnotic groove to create a sound that captures the genre’s singular mood: pleasure-fuelled, experimental fun. Stardust daren’t take a stab at having a second crack (even turning down $3 million to produce an album), making this generation-defying dancefloor filler a singular moment in time
THEY’RE PERFECTLY PAIRED BECAUSE...
You know that moment on a dancefloor when you catch a stranger’s eye and you immediately recognise they’re having the same amount of fun as you? When enjoyed together, that’s what these two extremely limited-edition creations do. Picture boogieing in one of Adelaide Fringe’s dance-designated hubs while this combo plays out, the hits of disco noise and whacks of gin-drenched zest begging you to unleash and groove. It’s an energy that can’t be replicated – an entirely singular experience produced by two one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
