After sharing new single ‘I CAN’T LOSE YOU’ from their forthcoming third album 3AM (LA LA LA) last week, Confidence Man has today announced they are returning home for an Australian tour this October and November.
The electro-pop act behind dance floor fillers 'Now You Do', 'Does It Make You Feel Good?' and 'Holiday’ has locked in six dates across the nation.
“We can’t wait for the homecoming of the century,” Confidence Man’s Sugar Bones says. “We’re gonna hotbox your head, steal your car, rearrange your body, and probably crash your house party. Clothes optional.”
The ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’ tour commences in Fremantle at the Freo Social on Thursday, October 24 before continuing in Adelaide at The Gov on Friday, October 25 and Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday, October 26.
The group then play shows at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Friday, November 1, Torquay Hotel in Torquay on Saturday, November 2 and the Forum in Melbourne on Monday, November 4.
Confidence Man will be bringing London-based, Australian-raised Loods on tour with them.
Access to pre-sale tickets is available for Frontier Members on Monday, June 17 at 12:30pm local time. General sale begins on Wednesday, June 19 at 8:30am local time via Frontier Touring.
It’s been a crazy last 12 months for Confidence Man, with Janet Planet, Sugar Bones, Reggie Goodchild and Clarence McGuffie setting up base in London to record their hotly anticipated third album.
Immersing themselves in the UK dance scene, 3AM (LA LA LA) is influenced by the city’s vibrant nightlife, with first single ‘I CAN’T LOSE YOU’ a tantalising taste of what to expect when the album drops on October 18.
Speaking on the album, Sugar Bones says: “3AM (LA LA LA) is gonna shake your mind, body and soul. If not, sounds like a you problem. It’s bubblegum warehouse at its finest, and that’s a legally binding con man guarantee. We can’t wait for the homecoming of the century. We’re gonna hotbox your head, steal your car, rearrange your body and probably crash your house party. Clothes optional.”
Confidence Man plays Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, October 25. For full ticket details visit the Frontier Touring website. 3AM (LA LA LA) is released on October 18. You can pre-order the album here.
