Confidence Man Reveals ‘Fabric Presents…’ Mix and Drops New Single ‘Break It Down (On The Bassline)’
The mix and single come ahead of the band’s much anticipated third studio album, 3AM (LA LA LA).
Confidence Man is having a moment. Preparing for the release of their third album, 3AM (LA LA LA), the duo of Janet Planet and Sugar Bones have been everywhere and anywhere.
Having sent fans into meltdown with their epic Glastonbury performance, Confidence Man has now announced they are the next artist to release their own mix for the long-running album series Fabric Presents… The band has also shared new song ‘Break It Down (On The Bassline)’, which is exclusive to the mix.
The track, a collaboration with Australian DJ/Producer duo IN2STELLAR, is, as the title suggests, a bass-heavy explosion made for getting down and dirty too.
Speaking about the mix for Fabric Presents… Confidence Man says: “The mix was a bunch of songs that we’ve been playing at parties and DJ sets etc combined with a bunch of older tunes we’ve loved for ages. Also a bunch of tunes sent thru from friends we also dig. Were tryin to make something we’d love to dance to.”

As for the collaboration with Confidence Man, IN2STELLAR had this to say: “We’ve had countless nights out partying/clubbing with Confidence Man and have always bonded over our shared love for early 2000s club bangers and DJing. To us this track feels like all of those nights out together rolled into one and is definitely one for the club!!”
The release of Fabric Presents Confidence Man arrives a month before the band’s much hyped third album, 3AM (LA LA LA), which is slated for release on October 18.
