Diamond Construct Announce Headline Australian Tour
The metalcore monsters will be supported by PROMPTS and Deficit.
New South Wales metal purveyors Diamond Construct have announced a seven-date tour kicking off this October. The national tour comes in support of the band’s sophomore album, Angel Killer Zero, which dropped earlier this year in April.
Joining Diamond Construct on their journey across the country are Japanese heavy metal act PROMPTS and Sydney up-and-comers Deficit.
“We are so incredibly excited to showcase our new record Angel Killer Zero across Australia,” says vocalist Kynan Groundwater. “We’re bringing an amazing tour package to each date that we feel our fans are going to love – Japan’s up-and-coming Prompts and fellow Aussie band Deficit. Diamond Construct fans should not sleep on tickets for this one – it’s going to be the most special performance by the band to date.”
The tour commences on Friday, October 11 at Perth’s Lynotts Lounge. All three bands then make their way to Adelaide for a gig at Lion Arts Factory on Saturday, October 12 which is followed by dates at The Espy in Melbourne on Sunday, October 13, La La La’s in Wollongong on Tuesday, October 15 and Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on Thursday, October 17. The final two performances are at the Newcastle Hotel in Newcastle on Friday, October 18 and Brightside Outdoors in Brisbane on Saturday, October 19.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via Destroy All Lines.

Getting their start on NSW’s mid-coast, Diamond Construct have cemented themselves as one of Australia’s most promising metalcore bands. Having toured with the likes of Emmure, Bury Tomorrow, Justice For The Damned and Alpha Wolf, the band’s latest album Angel Killer Zero has achieved close to 1 million streams and was described by Wall of Sound’s Tyler Lubke as “a true testament to what a band can achieve when they create, experiment and evolve their sound.”
Support act PROMPTS have acquired a huge fan base in their home country of Japan that has propelled them to worldwide success, scoring the band tour spots supporting the likes of Crossfaith, Kublai Khan and Crystal Lake, as well as leading to their first headline Australian tour earlier this year.
Sydneysiders Deficit are still riding high after supporting Ocean Sleeper and Lil Lotus in April and are looking forward to delivering a hard-hitting live performance to their growing legion of fans.
