Parcels Share Collaborative EP ‘Leaveyourlove’
The EP contains new versions of Parcels’ hit tune, ‘Leaveyourlove’.

Aussie indie collective Parcels have today shared their new collaborative EP, Leaveyourlove. Released via Because Music, the seven-track EP features Parcels collaborating with a host of local and international acts, reworking their hit song ‘Leaveyourlove’.
The funky disco tune dropped in late October and quickly became a fan favourite, garnering over 2 million streams. Enjoying the collaborative process of recording the track, Parcels decided to rope in some of their favourite artists to create new versions of ‘Leaveyourlove’.
The lads enlisted Northeast Arnhem Land rockers King Stingray, whose collab includes a verse in their native Yolŋu Matha, along with Latin Grammy-award winner Rawayana and Mexican singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana, who give ‘Leaveyourlove’ a vibrant pop.
Also appearing on the EP are Portugues singer MARO, Twianese dance pop act Cosmos People, HaoTing from Sunset Rollercoaster and DJs Robert Owens and Tobi Neumann.
Speaking about the EP, the band reflected, “The idea for the Leaveyourlove EP came early. The song was a simple and fun expression of love from different angles, Pat, Jules and Noah each traded verses. We enjoyed this sweet collaborative feeling, it felt right with the song, so we quickly had the idea to open it up to people outside of the band too! We imagined friends and artists we liked from around the world jumping in and writing their own expressions of love into the song. In different languages, in different styles. It would be the first time we ever collaborated with feature artists, so it felt good to open that up to a group of great artists from around the world, something that felt larger and deeper than the song itself.
“Some of the artists were already friends, some were connections made online from many miles away. Some of the sessions were had together recrafting the song in the studio, some from a distance, sharing files and ideas. Some will never see the light of day.”

Discussing their experience working with Parcels, King Stingray said: “Working on this song was just so dreamy. We had so much fun working on this at the Mulkaart Center in Yirrkala with Arian Pearson who we’ve been working with and recording music since we were kids. Some of our first ever songs were recorded at this place and it was so cool to be back here after several years. We also recorded some vocals at subsonic studio with Matthew Cunliffe who was an original keyboard player for the band Yothu Yindi of which our family are members of. The song is so beautiful and fun and we had so much fun working on it with Parcels!”
Cosmos People said about the collaboration, “To me, this song represents the universality of love. I felt love when Parcels invited us to collaborate on ‘Leaveyourlove’. I felt it while producing the song, and I feel it every time I listen. My hope is that listeners will feel that same love—even if they don’t fully understand the lyrics. Love can really transcend language.” With HaoTing adding, “When I first heard this song, it made me think of the feeling of first love.”
Forming in 2014, Louie Swan (keyboards), Patrick Hetherington (keyboards/guitar), Noah Hill (bass), Jules Crommelin (guitar) and Anatole “Toto” Serret (drums), Parcels have released two studio albums, their 2018 self-titled debut and 2021s Day/Night.
Parcels have also shared two live albums, Live Vol. 1 and Live Vol. 2, and performed at some of the most majestic venues in the world, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, along with festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo.
‘Leaveyourlove’ is Parcels’ first new taste of music in 2024 and arrives as the band enters the studio to record their much anticipated third record.
