RATSALAD. Announce First South Aussie Show Since 2021
The WA trio are ready to fuck shit up when they hit The Gov next month.

Chaotic WA punk trio RATSALAD. make their long-awaited SA return next month, performing a special one-off gig at The Gov.
The beer-swilling, riff-making three-piece comprising Jaz (vocals/bass), Erica (vocals/drums) and Ken (vocals/guitar), are playing their first Adelaide show in four years on Saturday, April 12 at The Gov’s famed Gibson Stage.
“RATSALAD ARE BACK IN SOUTH AUS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2021 FOR A FKN RIPPER AT @lovethegov,” reads a statement on the band’s Instagram.
The gig promises to be an evening of sweaty bodies, overflowing beer and ear-shattering tunes, and with only 90 tickets up for grabs, you’ll want to get in quick or find yourself with a bad case of FOMO.
Joining RATSALAD. on stage are Adelaide punk rock favourites LOLA and pub folk act Bridget Fahey and the Bone Rattlers. Tickets are on sale via Oztix.

Hailing from Jambinu (Yamatji Nation) on the Coastal Midwest of WA, or in the words of RATSALAD., “400km north of the world’s most isolated city,” the trio have been causing a ruckus since 2019.
Their first single, ‘Dead Rat’, an ode to the dead mouse that stunk out their rehearsal space, won the 2020 WA Music Song of the Year award in the Heavy/Metal category. The band went on to win the same award under the Punk/Hardcore category for the next three years running (2021-2023), gaining a cult following in the West.
As word spread about these upstarts, RATSALAD. soon scored support spots for big touring acts including Bodyjar, Frenzal Rhomb, Karnivool, Eskimo Joe, and most recently, Old Mervs. They even got the nod to perform at the AFWL pride round in front of their favourite footy team, the Freo Dockers.
Finally returning to little old Adelaide for a headline gig at The Gov in April, fans are urged to grab tickets asap as this one is sure to sell out fast!
