WA pub rockers The Southern River Band are back with blistering rock anthem, ‘F**k You, Pay Me’.
A riff-tastic middle finger to those who refuse to pay their debts, ‘F**k You, Pay Me’ will have you head banging along and singing the expletive-filled chorus with venom.
“This song is for everyone who has ever been stiffed, ripped off, bullshitted or flat out not received what they were promised,” says vocalist Cal Kramer. “To the guilty parties (see; thief) - F**k You, Pay Me!”
The release of ‘F**k You, Pay Me’ comes seven months after The Southern River band dropped their fourth LP, D.I.Y. The album landed at #6 on the ARIA Album Chart and the epic six-minute ‘Stan Qualen’, a song that charted in 23 countries around the globe and led to the band embarking on their first international tour.
Along with sharing their new single, The Southern River Band are hitting the road on the F**k You, Pay Me tour this May.
Taking in six capital cities across the nation, the tour commences at Brisbane’s Crowbar on Friday, May 9 and continues with concerts at Sydney’s Crowbar on Saturday, May 10, Hobart’s Altar Bar on Thursday, May 15, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Friday, May 16 and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Saturday, May 17, with the final show taking place at Perth’s Rosemount on Friday, May 23.
Tickets for all shows are on sale Thursday, March 13 via thesouthernriverband.com.

One of the hardest-working bands in the West, The Southern River Band have been out there getting it done for over a decade. In that time the quartet have released four albums, including last year’s D.I.Y., and transformed their live show into a hurricane of magnetic energy that has to be seen to be believed.
The Southern River Band have supported Aussie rockers Cold Chisel and Rose Tattoo, along with modern rock and rollers like The Darkness and Eagles Of Death Metal, and built a large overseas fanbase, consistently touring the UK and Europe.
The band’s upcoming tour arrives before they head back to Europe to perform at rock festivals Download, Hellfest and Resurrection.
