Watch the First Trailer for the Bob Dylan Biopic A Complete Unknown
The much anticipated first trailer for the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown has dropped.
The James Mangold (Logan, Ford vs. Ferrari) directed flick stars Timothée Chalamet as Dylan, with the Dune actor doing an impressive job of replicating the great singer-songwriter’s voice during the trailer, singing Dylan’s classic ‘A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall’.
A Complete Unknown begins with Dylan moving to New York in 1961 and follows his musical journey over the next four years, culminating with his career-defining performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.
The film also stars Elle Fanning as Dylan’s girlfriend, Sylvie Russo (who is based on Dylan’s real-life girlfriend at that time, Suze Rotolo), Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, and an aged Edward Norton as folk legend Pete Seeger.
There is no release date for A Complete Unknown but it’s believed the film will drop in December. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
Jane’s Addiction Share First New Song with Original Lineup in 34 Years
The original Jane’s Addiction lineup of Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery has surprised everyone with the release of ‘Imminent Redemption’, the band’s first single in 34 years.
“It is different this time,” the band said in a press release “To have everyone back together, releasing new music. It’s time. Welcome to the next chapter of Jane’s Addiction. ‘Imminent Redemption’ is only the beginning.”
Showing they’ve lost none of their spunk, ‘Imminent Redemption’ is classic Jane’s Addiction with the band firing on all four cylinders. As the band seems to confirm, more new music is on the way, hopefully in the shape of an album, which would be the band’s first since 2010s The Great Escape.

Mclusky Announce Reunion Album
Two decades on from their last album, 2004s well-received The Difference Between Me and You Is That I'm Not on Fire, Welsh post-punkers Mclusky are getting the band back together for their fourth long player.
The announcement comes six months after the band toured Australia in January in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album, Mclusky Do Dallas, a tour that was postponed in 2022 due to health issues impacting vocalist and guitarist Andy "Falco" Falkous.
The band took to X to share the news, releasing this statement: “mclusky were a band between 1999 and 2005 and now they are a band again.
“I know, mindblowing. go wonder at the night. mclusky are recording a new album. it will be released on ipecac in 2025. mclusky firmly believe that all djs should be French.”
Mclusky is expected to tour the UK next year, hopefully resulting in another trip Down Under for the trio.
Four Tops Vocalist Duke Fakir Dead AT 88
The last remaining member of the legendary vocal quartet the Four Tops, Duke Fakir, has passed away at the age of 88, reports the Detroit Free Press.
“Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a trailblazer, icon and music legend who, through his 70-year music career, touched the lives of so many as he continued to tour until the end of 2023, and officially retired this year," the Fakir family said in a statement provided to the Detroit Free Press.
"As the last living founding member of the iconic Four Tops music group, we find solace in Duke’s legacy living on through his music for generations to come."
Duke founded the Four Tops in 1953 when he was just 18 years old alongside Levi Stubbs, Renaldo "Obie" Benson and Lawrence Payton. The foursome had great success with hit singles ‘I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)’, ‘Standing in the Shadows of Love’, ‘Reach Out, I’ll Be There’ and ‘Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever’ during the late 60s.
Following the deaths of the group’s former members, Fakir continued to tour with new vocalists until officially retiring earlier this year.
