Tina Arena & Richard Marx Bring Their ‘Don't Ask... Again Tour’ To the Barossa Valley
They will be joined by special guests Daryl Braithwaite, Kate Cebuano, Southern Sons and 1927.
First announced as part of Victoria’s Always Live 2024 program, Australian singer Tina Arena and American pop rocker Richard Marx are now taking their Don’t Ask… Again Tour on the road, including a performance in the Barossa Valley this November.
Expect to hear both artist’s biggest hits, including Arena’s ‘Chains’, ‘Burn’ and ‘Sorrento Moon (I Remember)’ and Grammy Award winner Marx’s ‘Don’t Mean Nothing’, ‘Right Here Waiting’ and ‘Now and Forever’.
The dynamic duo of Arena and Marx will kick things off at Seppeltsfield Wines in the Barossa on Saturday, November 23. The following weekend they head to Sandstone Point for a show at the Sandstone Point Hotel on Saturday, November 30. This is followed by a performance at Mornington Racecourse in Mornington on Saturday, December 7 and a final outing at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt in Sydney on Monday, December 9.
Wanting fans to get their money’s worth, Arena and Marx are bringing along some special guests, with Daryl Braithwaite, Kate Cebuano, Southern Sons and 1927 appearing at all shows bar the Sydney Opera House performance.

This year Tina Arena is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her smash album, Don’t Ask. The ten-track release topped the ARIA Charts in 1994 and spawned the hit singles ‘Chains’, ‘Sorrento Moon (I Remember)’, ‘Heaven Help My Heart’, ‘Wasn’t It Good’, ‘Show Me Heaven’ and ‘That’s the Way a Woman Feels’.
Arguably her biggest record, Arena’s career has continued to flourish since then, with the Melbourne-born artist having won six ARIA Awards, sold over 10 million records – including three sung in French – and released a best-selling memoir, Now I Can Dance.
Richard Marx is a living legend who made waves in the late 80s when his first seven singles all made it into the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. He’s released 14 albums over the journey, including 2022s Songwriter, and is best known for his songs ‘Hold on To the Nights’, ‘Satisfied’ and ‘Right Here Waiting’.
The addition of former Sherbet singer Daryl Braithwaite, four-time Grammy Award-winning songstress Kate Cebuano, Melbourne rockers Southern Sons and 80s pop rock act 1927 only make the Don’t Ask… Again Tour one not to be missed.
