Few DJs are whipping crowds into a frenzy like UK artist Yung Singh. The past couple of years have seen Singh go from a staple of the European club scene to a bonafide global superstar, with a performance at Coachella’s Do Lab stage last year one of the highlights of his career.
Singh’s genre-spanning sets journey through UK garage, hip hop, DnB and jungle – infused with his Punhabi roots. In news that’s sure to excite electronic music fans, Singh is heading our way for five shows in April.
Taking to Instagram to announce the tour, Singh wrote: “finally back down under. excited to be back in some of my favourite cities on the planet. touring aus/nz for all of april with the @astral_people family once again. hopefully see you all soon!”
Singh’s Australian leg of his southern hemisphere tour begins at Higher Grnd in Boorloo/Perth (Thursday, April 17). This is followed by shows at Rabbits Eat Lettuce in Meanjin/Brisbane (Friday, April 18), Summer Dance in Eora/Sydney (Saturday, April 19), Sonder in Naarm/Melbourne (Sunday, April 20) and Electric Circus in Tarntanya/Adelaide (Friday, April 25).
