Dorkz – ‘Heartbeat’
Dorkz third release, ‘Heartbeat’, is a cosy surf-stamped song that’ll make you long for summer love and sunny beer gardens despite June’s wet weather. Sounding a little like West Thebarton’s early ‘Misophonia’, the simplicity of this song is what makes it a success, with clever lyrics and a tight sound always winning through. However, the ‘Heartbeat’ single launch will be the band’s last gig (for now) with the departure of Dorkz’s drummer, Eric Zulic. Sad. But at least we’ll always have this earworm of a song to jam to.
