Maisie – ‘Overflow’

Sun-soaked and psychedelic, ‘Overflow’ by local groove-rockers Maisie is a song that’ll cure your premature winter blues. The new single sounds like a track that ’70s surfers would blast in their panel van before hitting the big blue and catching some waves. Gnarly. But instead, the blistering guitar solo, gooey vocals and trippy rhythm base have us boogying in the pub, pretending we have a starring role in Bruce Brown’s 1966 doco, The Endless Summer.
