Beer & BBQ Fest are celebrating 10 years of beers with an epic three days of brews, BBQ and live music this King’s birthday long weekend (June 6-8).

The biggest festival of its kind in the country has gone all out in 2025, adding an extra special day nicknamed ‘Legends’ night. This year’s event features five sessions across three days with a musical lineup that’s sure to please even the harshest critic.

Headlining the Friday night are rock greats Wolfmother delivering a two-decade spanning set of hard rocking tunes. Saturday evening sees pub punkers The Chats ripping up the stage with their trademark raucous sound, while the newly introduced ‘Legends’ night on Sunday features ARIA Hall of Famer Tim Finn, who fits the ‘Legends’ tag like a glove.

Joining the headliners are a raft of awesome Aussie acts including ‘90s alt favourites Custard, Melbourne alternative act Rocket Science, the resurrected Gooch Palms, vocal powerhouse Mondo Psycho, folk punk force of nature Slim Krusty, indie pop princes My Chérie and many more.

Other highlights include Henry Wagons and his new band, The Tennesse Studs, debuting CASH: The American Recordings – a project involving Wagons and co performing tracks from the six Rick Rubin-produced Johnny Cash albums, Kiwi rockers Dick Move playing in Adelaide for the very first time, and a live set from Mulga Bore Hard Rock, a six-piece hailing from the remote central Australian desert community of Akaye (Mulga Bore) presented in collaboration with the festival’s lead not-for-profit partner Bush Music Fund.

You can check out the full lineup below and be prepared for a slew of new acts to be announced in the coming months.

This year’s Beer & BBQ Fest has compiled the largest congregation of brewers under one roof, with the full brewer lineup to be unveiled in late April. As has been the way since the first Beer & BBQ Fest, event organisers are supporting the Independent Brewers Association (IBA) via a range of measures to help out the industry during such a tough time. The 2025 Beer Ambassador is Little Bang Brewing founder Ryan Davidson who will lead the program of on-stage discussions, masterclasses, debates and general beer-nerdiness.

The full BBQ lineup also drops in April, but organisers have called it a ‘greatest hits’ of the past decade, with some of the best low and slow chefs from past line-ups cooking up a feast for hungry punters across the three days.

Anyone who has been to Beer & BBQ Fest knows there’s more than just beer, BBQ and music. Punters can expect live BMX and skating demos, Riot City Wrestling laying the smackdown, eating contests, market stalls, masterclass panels with brewers and chefs and of course, the infamous Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Championships, which always delivers a few laughs.

Speaking about the festival, Co-Director of Beer & BBQ Festival and General Admission Entertainment, Gareth Lewis says: “Festivals, beer, hospitality, food and live music are five of the toughest industries to be in during a cost-of-living moment. I am fully aware that Beer & BBQ Festival is a luxury, but it’s one that I think we all deserve. If you’ve ever been to a Beer & BBQ Fest event, we want to have a beer with you in June, because without your support right now this may well be the last one.”

Co-Director of Beer & BBQ Festival and General Admission Entertainment, Aaron Sandow states: “We are so proud of this little thought bubble festival to have survived a decade, and we want it to be around for the next decade. The thousands of small businesses, team, artists, stall holders and brands it has supported and that have supported us over the past ten years is the reason we do it. Supporting independent festivals is imperative to the industries we love surviving and thriving.”

ABBF Beer Ambassador, Ryan Davidson (co-founder of Little Bang Brewing) adds: “The craft beer industry in Australia literally grew up alongside the Beer & BBQ Festival. It's the most important beer festival on the calendar in this country, and renowned worldwide for good reason, Adelaide should be so very proud to own it. Whether you’re a crazy hazy fan, a sour super-nerd, or a casual lager-quaffer with a passing interest in good times, I want to celebrate this remarkable festival’s 10 years of beers with you.”

Beer & BBQ Fest 2025 takes place over the King’s birthday long weekend from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8. First release tickets are on sale now via the Mostix website.
