Next year’s edition of the festival is headlined by Missy Higgins, Hoodoo Gurus, The Cat Empire and Birds of Toyko.
One of New South Wales’ great rural festivals, Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash, returns in 2025 with a stellar lineup of national talent.
Held at Belmont Station (Mundi Mundi Plains) from Thursday, August 21 to Saturday, August 23, 2025, the festival caters to all types of music lovers, with a diverse lineup including pub rock, country, pop and more.
Next year’s event is headlined by ARIA Hall of Fame Inductee Missy Higgins, who has been selling out concerts left, right and centre this year after the release of her latest album, The Second Act. She will be joined by Aussie rock royalty Hoodoo Gurus, inspiring funk collective The Cat Empire, modern rockers Birds of Tokyo and country singer Kasey Chambers.
Elsewhere, raging rockers The Angles, songstress Kate Ceberano, English-born crooner Leo Sayer, country warbler Brax Cox, heavy rock champions Rose Tattoo and Chocolate Starfish, making their record fourth appearance at Mundi Mundi Bash, are also performing sets across the three-day festival.
The rest of the lineup is filled out by Ross Wilson, Shannon Noll, Pierce Brothers, Thirsty Merc, Dragon, Mi-Sex, Sarah McLeod, Ziggy – 50 Years of David Bowie starring Iota, Jeff Duff, Steve Balbi and Bryden Stace, 19Twenty, Chantoozies, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Mick Thomas and local bands Leroy Johnson and the Waterbag Bag Band and Tha Boiz.

A three-day camping event that’s both all-ages and dog-friendly, Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash offers more than just top-notch musical acts. There’s a Mad Max dress-up day, charity Mundi Undi fun run, outdoor movie screenings, morning yoga classes, camel rides, dunny door painting, a petting zoo for the kids, a world record attempt at the Nutbush dance and much more.
Festival owner, producer and Managing Director of the Outback Music Festival Group, Greg Donovan, says of the festival, “Some of the biggest voices in Australian music will belt out classic Aussie anthems and hit songs on the Mundi Mundi Plains, it will be another epic and unique experience for our festival goers. Last year we staged Australia’s biggest ever Outback music event – and we’re hoping we’ll do it all over again in 2025.”
