Busta Rhymes is recognised as a hip hop great whose career has spanned almost four decades. An original member of Leaders of the New School who came to the fore after collaborating with A Tribe Called Quest, Busta has released 11 studio albums to date – including 2006’s #1 Billboard 200 charting The Big Bang – and was named one of The Source’s Top 50 Lyricists of All Time in 2012.
Busta’s short tour comes in support of last year’s Blockbusta, his first album since 2020’s Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God. It’s also the rapper’s first Australian trip since 2011 when he performed as part of the Supafest tour.
